Aerochambers

The choice of size is based on age. Indeed:

• 0-9 months: infant model
• 9 months – 6 years: child model
• 6 years and over: adult model

Before :

• Follow the medical prescription (dosage and frequency).
• Have an adapted posture: an infant can lie down, but a child must sit up with his back straight.
• To make it easier for your child to take the treatment: you can place the mask on yourself or on your child’s favourite toy to familiarise him or her with taking the treatment.

After :

• For children with fragile skin (dry skin, eczema), rinse the area around the mouth with water.
• Keep track of dates of coughing or wheezing episodes.
• Their frequency is an important element for a doctor’s diagnosis.
• Bring the child’s aerochamber to each consultation: this will help the doctor to check that it is working properly and that the administration technique is correct.
• Do not lend aerochambers.
